daughters op has finally been scheduled, its in a fortnight she will then have a permantly bent finger, but should be pain free, not sure how long op is or how long or what she will need before she is able to cope using her hand like this

(((((((((((((kathy & daughter)))))))))))))),

I pray that your daughters finger surgery will go well. Sometimes we have to accept things that aren't what we would truely want, so that we will be able to not have pain that would otherwise be too much to live with. It isn't easy with either choice isn't what we would really want, but I hope she will be able to handle the outcome of the surgery.

I know how painful my finger is that got broke when a horse I was holding onto the reins with, reared up & caught my finger & snapped it. I saw the break & snapped the finger back & then again, trying to get it in place while it was still hurting......I walked into the ranch house & almost passed out after that. Later that day, I went to my orthopdeic surgeon that reconstructed my knee & he verified it was broken....duh......Now it hurts everytime the weather changes & when I bend it at times......your daughter has my sympathy regarding finger pain......so I hope the surgery really does the fix.

Debbie

her finger allready has had surgary trying to get it bk to normal but as break was on a joint it didnt work even with a screw so they are going to fuse the joint so no more joint in middle finger, and it will be permantly bent
