Well on Monday hubby bought me a car and since I havent driven for over a year it was a bit scary at first although I am getting the hang of it real fast.

So far I have been to the shops on my own and taken my son for the first time to his play school AND picked him up all on my own which for me is a major achievment.

I needed some things from the shops this afternoon but it was too much for me so like a chicken I backed out and made hubby go instead.

WOW.

Good first step Tishie, I am proud of you, driving can be a bit unerving, just take things one step at a time and be patient. Stay safe out there! TJ

Congrats on getting back on the road. I know it's nerve wracking to drive after a long abscence from it. For the first little while you might want to avoid major highways and try not to have to drive during rush hour.

Yea Tishie! I don't enjoy driving very much either, but since we live in a rural community I have to. Hugs to hubby.

I LOVE driving!!! its fun speeding along, changing lanes and getting to the front of the pack (group of cars) and making your escape from the crazy slow drivers who like to cut people off lol

Slow drivers cut people off? I thought it was those maniacs that weave in and out of traffic.
