Looks like this will be my best / most inexpensive option since insurance won't pay for the medication I need.

How safe are those online Canadian pharmacies? How do you know you're getting the right stuff?

Anyone know of one that has a good reputation?

Thanks.

I did that once before and it worked out fine. but nowadays i think it would be an issue with customs? maybe im wrong. but i did buy from a site, cant remember the name but will check it out for you. what meds do you need to get cheaper. did you check with walmart? they have a pretty extensive 4 dollar no insurance prescription program. I use it and it saves a LOT of money, i have diabetes, and asthma and my drugs are very cheap there.

just an option....hope this helps

How safe is it to buy "American" drugs that may have ingredients from China?

Given all the harmful side effects and contraindications, how safe is it to take ANY drug? I almost want to laugh when I hear of death or suicide being a possible side effect. Is it really worth taking that risk? How safe is it to buy drugs from Canada online?

Pharmaceutical companies are pumping out new drugs so quickly these days, it appears they are grossly more concerned with profit than providing healthcare to those in need. How safe is it to buy drugs from Canada online?

Razzleberry - if you're still thinking about using Xanax for your anxiety, please read up on the drug first to see exactly what risks you'll be taking. Sorry, I don't mean to harp on you. How safe is it to buy drugs from Canada online?

Personally, I would avoid all mail-ordered medications that are not part of your insurance plan from a company within the US.

There have been several studies on these mail order companies showing that (1) the needed ingrediants are lower, (2) the "filler" ingrediants can actually be dangerous, and (3) many of these mail-order places are actually someone's home lab.

I have known people that have gone into Canada to get their meds in person from pharmacies. But I would avoid mail order from ANY country.

Options include: Ask your pdoc for samples or find another medication. There are many meds and the one prescibed does not have to be the only right one.

Yeah, I'd agree with Riptide to first ask your doctor about possibly getting samples. I think most places offer the samples on most drugs. And then I'd try Wal Mart to see what you'd be paying with that $4 med offer. I'd only use Canadian meds as a last resort.
