I was hoping my move wouldn't affect me and my time here, but it has. What's been going on with me

I'm about finished with the important stuff that I'm doing daily now.

I've moved from my home of almost 21 years. It's a good move for all the right reasons, but harder than I imagined!

We still have alot of "stuff" over there, but now we can go in and just start packing it for storage, or throwing it out. We're gonna put the house up at the end of the month hopefully.

Oh, to top it off...limiting me further, I got sick and tore my calf muscle. What's been going on with me

Anyhow, guys, if you've wondered or worried, I'm here and caring...always caring.

Much love,

KD

Ouch/Awww, hope you get feeling better, less sore physically. Oh, the house move after 21 years; not easy, did that 2-1/2 years ago. Nice to be in a new/clean/organized space but not so nice missing the old and unpacking and getting use to the new.

So glad to hear from you!! Was worried about ya. ALmost thought we'd have to send a search crew out lol So sorry to hear about your calf muscle .. owie! But it must be exciting to move. I hope its for a good reason, like Little Man needing a bigger playyard lol. Good luck with finishing up the move. I will dread that one too when our time comes. Hopefully hubby gets a job first lol. Take care!!

Hi KD, yuck, I hate moving. It must be really difficult after living in your house for 21 years--not just all the accumulated stuff, but emotionally as well. My thoughts are with you.

((((kimmydawn))) I hope the new house is wonderful for ya'll. I'm sorry you had to leave the old one behind. I know that feeling well. I miss seeing my house the way it use to be. But i guess change can turn out to be a better thing.

Take care of your calf and dont do too much that to hurt it worse. Let them men do all that type of work.

Waiting to see you back and posting.

Moving for anyone is a lot of work! And to leave a home you had spent so long in must have it's share of heartache...or at least it would for me. And to injure yourself in the process!!! Poor you!

Try to take it easy...you don't want to prolong the healing of your muscles!

((((((((((((((((((((((((((((( everyone )))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

I cried a good cry reading this. What's been going on with me Feeling tired and "beat up" right now...lol.

My calf is already better. Yay! I still have to baby it and walk with a waddle (which is hurting my hip on the opposite side), but it's alot better. From what I understand it was a minor tear. Ummm, MINOR combine with tear, muscle and pain just don't mesh, does it? LOL It doesn't for me!

The move is for a good reason. We've found black mold at the other house went we went to tear up carpet to replace it. I'm CONVINCED this was the cause of daughter's grave's as it's not anywhere close in blood lines. Mold toxins can go right to thyroid. Yeah, and all of little man's upper respiratory infections? What's been going on with me

We got outta dodge. We're going to put it up for sale and probably take a loss. What's been going on with me I just had to get my family out of there.

My hubby has wanted to move to the family home for a couple of years now, and we have. My FIL is never home and the house was basically unlived in. OMG, I found canned foods, CANNED FOODS, that expired in 2004!!!!!

It's a big, beautiful home directly across from a pretty pond, with a HUGE yard for little man. Little man loves it so much. He did soooo well. He's slept in his room from the first night!

This summer we're going to make a sitting room in the basement and have little man's puter, TV, toys, etc. where he can go if he needs to be wild.

I feel really good mentally, just exhausted, and could sit down and cry when I think all the more I have to do...whew.

One step at a time.

I love you guys. You make my day.

KD

KimmyDawn: I know teh woes and joys of moving. It will take a while to get back into the groove. I moved last fall from one province to another. The costs, schedules, designating, packing, unpacking, hook-ups and disconnections, house shows. Setting up new schools, doctors, and services, transfering records. I applaud you.

Would you be able to take something from the old house to place in the new one? My mom used to do that. Go at your own pace and everybody here will be happy to see you back when it is right for you.
