I've been thinking about a recent post that was linked to an ad on ebay--kids selling their psychiatrist dad. What a fun idea!!!! I started to think about how much would my doctor be worth. Now it's come to this: How much would somebody pay for our DocJohn?

Just the thought of someone actually buying him and taking him from us is horrifying! I have to assume--and INSIST in a screaming pounding on the floor tantrum--that should DocJohn ever become the equivalent of human merchandise, we absolutely, positively, must demand that the buyer only get temporary ownership and return our DocJohn to us (including Nancy) sound and healthy! I'm not sure where a low bid for him could even start--he's priceless to us!
How much is DocJohn worth? How much is DocJohn worth? How much is DocJohn worth? How much is DocJohn worth? How much is DocJohn worth?

So true! He is PRICELESS to us here!!!

I think the bidding should start at ONE MILLION dollars!!! That is going to be the starting, then it would end at a gazillion dollars(a real number in my mind!)!How much is DocJohn worth? LOL

Then we would have him back to help us in chat, monitor posts and be an amazing part of this wonderful family that he has created!

Thanks for being so awesome, DocJohn!!!

How much is DocJohn worth? How much is DocJohn worth? How much is DocJohn worth? How much is DocJohn worth?

You all are too kind!! How much is DocJohn worth? How much is DocJohn worth? How much is DocJohn worth?

It's good to know I am appreciated. The feeling is entirely mutual -- this would be an empty echo chamber with your kind support of one another.

Don't forget electricity for power; food to feed him if it's an overnight trip (all trip expenses paid for by the buyer); transportation as needed; DocJohn's standard (hourly?) fee for consultation services, regardless of type (consult for psych, computer/web, programming, etc); ...

Hmm. Hey, DocJohn, do you need any assistants to work for you? How much is DocJohn worth?

Sure you can. Juries do it all the time in wrong death cases.

Person = Value
Money = Value
Person = Money

Done.

Oh, surely we could ebay-him out for consulting services at least??? And of course the money could go into... HIS POCKET because he'd lose money from day work How much is DocJohn worth?

It would be kewl and fun if it were feasible. How much is DocJohn worth?

Maybe we could bid on him here by donating to the community fund? How much is DocJohn worth?

I've thought it might be a great idea to raise money for the site's fund. There's gotta be a way to work it.
