Going to see a Psychologist (not sure if that is considered a therapist or not) on Friday. Try to get an outside opinion on all my issues. Don't want to lose my sobriety or my sanity. Would love to have a beer. Know I can't. Know it does no good. Cannot concentrate. Just too much on the plate.

There's some in caregiver support, some in Alcohol and Substance abuse, and some in Relationships and Communication.

When I look back on it all - I wander if this is a "normal" way of life - LOL

But I wanted to say Thanks to all my peeps at PC You have been an invaluable asset to helping me GET and STAY sober and see things in perspective. I suppose now that I have to face reality - I realize I may not be able to do it totally on my own. Thanks guys for being there.

Ravyn

o-ho! What a horse!

I am glad you found support here. I guess everybody here trying the best they can.

once i was told something interesting about this when i thanked some1 for vocal tips which helped me out.

And i say it to you : you are responsible for yourself staying sober so you can be proud of yourself!
The outside everybody else are just guidance adn support. But that`s relaly great . Good lucj with teh thrapist! Giving in

Good luck with the psychologist. I hope you find someone you connect with.

And as for feeling / finding normal. In my experience nothing feels normal when you're first getting sober. It's a good feeling yes - but it comes with tons of ups and downs.

Yeah,
(((((Split)))))))

I hear ya! It seems I'm looking back and seeing where all my triggers are now. What makes me want it. Why I would want to go into oblivion. But I gotta work em out one at a time.

I think this one is the biggest cause it affects my whole life to its entirety.

To be honest, my appointment is Friday at noon, and I can't wait to get there. Giving in
