Soooo frustrating right now.

During the school days, I can barely manage to stay awake, and when I get home I'm too manic-y to really focus on any kind of work. Everyone keeps telling me "Oh, wait until you get a JOB and you'll wish you were back in school!" but in my mind- work an school are just different things. Of course I'm not going to slack off at work- even though I'm pretty tempted too at school.

Don't get me wrong, I actualy LIKE the school, the teachers, my classmates, but I just can't focus on the working aspect. Any advice?

Is your school about to get out for summer vacation? I use to get like that right before summer vacation every year. Unfourtantley this whole year has been like that do to a lovely case of senioritis.

But like Court_Knee said music helps I usually listen to music when I do homework.

Or setting aside a special place just for homework and studying helps too. My kitchen table is my study spot so I know when I sit down there that it's study time and it really helps me concentrate.

Good luck and a job is way diffrent then school...mostly because they pay you at work..espically if you waitress you won't slack off because if you do there goes your tip!!

Well, school will be out for summer break in about 45 days. But it's been like this since December. I would litsen to music, but no matter how calming the music is supposed to be, it just makes me feel more elated so it kinda makes the situation worse.

Hmm..I've always been antsy in school...always had problems focusing and stuff. I don't have much advice because if I'm not intrested in the subject I don't pay attention in class...that and other than math class it was easy for me. I don't know what to tell you..sorry I wish I could help more!!
