Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms on PsychCentral. May you have a great day!

I visited my stepmother, who is 89, yesterday to give her a Mother's Day plant for her room. She is in an Alzheimer's facility in the Los Angeles area. I am not sure that she knew who I was, but she seemed to appreciate the plant.

My real mother died about seven years ago. I think of her a lot today. I miss her very much.

I am spending the entire day with my wife, who is the mother of my only child. We will be taking my mother-in-law to dinner tonight, also.

Call your mother, stepmother, grandmother, mother-in-law, or any other mothers if you haven't already. This is their day, and they should be recognized for everything they do.
