I have had some updates to my little house by a man who is very skilled at all sorts of jobs. First, I had the heating/AC replaced, and now he is building an addition onto the back of my house. HIs wife comes and sits in the car or out in the yard all day while he's working! She's sitting out in the truck as I write this. I'm talkng 8 or 10 hour days of her sitting out there. I invited her inside a couple of times, but it seems strange to me that she is doing this, and today, after working all day, I need my privacy. I'm not even going to ask you all if I should invite her in today. Why she is doing this when she could be home relaxing or tending to her many children, I have no idea!

Wow that is strange. Is this every time he comes? Maybe she's a worrier, and it makes her feel better being there with him. Are they older? Maybe that's her break away from the kids. Is she reading, listening to a book on tape? Does she come in when you invite her?

My husband and I worked at the same place on the same shift for about 8 years. From time to time, particularly in the spring, something would happen to the power lines and the plant would lose power, they KNEW he'd turn around and come back immedately.

I kept my laptop and adaptor and a book in the car. One time I didn't even realize that he'd been in there all night until the sun started coming up. One of the guys that works for him (and know me) wonder how I could possibly be so patient (which they knew I am not). The thing that was lucky for him was Sims had just released the new expansion pack Makin Magic. We had just bought it on the way to work and I installed while he was in working. A person from my department came out and asked if I wanted to punch back in and do honey do jobs until hubby was done. No way, I've got a new Sims.

Every few hours, he'd send one of his guys out with a soda or snack. They said it was because they wanted to make sure I was comfortable. I found out later that there was a pool to see how long I'd sit out there before I threw a fit. Hubby kept saying "she's fine, best $40 we ever spent." My boss was so happy that hubby was able to stay until everything was fixed again, I got the next day off :-)

As long as she isn't in his/your way, let her be. It must bring happiness and joy to her or she wouldn't be doing it. Does seems a bit boring though, I admit.

Maybe she is trying to make a point with him.....to show him just how much she was getting done while he was at work?????

If she is with him, then those things won't be getting done & he will see just how much she really does do.....who knows, but I am sure there is a good logical reason.....I am nosey enough, I would probably ask......who knows, the answer might be quite interesting.

I don't know. When I had her inside and we talked, she seemed troubled and unhappy, even emotionally unstable. So, who knows!
Anyway, my addition should be done by the end of the week, hopefully.

Could he possibly make her do that? Maybe you could sorta drop the question into a conversation with him?
