Well, it's all done...Put up show, and now back home with it, and whew!!! what a lot of sweaty work! I posted the pics in my member gallery. I'm now done with the MA...4 years work!

My advisor/weaving instructor cornered me several times to tell me that I MUST submit my work to shows and galleries. I'm a bit of a recluse, you know, so it is hard for me to think about this right now. For now, I'm just glad to be done with it! Love Patty |

Bebop, I'm sure you have talent, in areas of personal connection, since I so like to hear from you! I'm just so tired right now, and it still hasn't sunk in to me that I no longer have to have a project in the works for one of my class deadlines. I've actually come down with a bad cold today, and I think it is a result of all the stress of getting the work and show done. Friends have told me I could do this kind of work, sell it, and stop teaching...LOL! I know how hard it is to make a living as an artist, and I have seen grown men have heart attacks after art/craft shows when they didn't have good sales. Of course, this work would be in galleries, but galleries double the price. Been there, done that! In the end, I'm lucky to have a job which pays retirement and benefits, I think, but I will see what I can do with all these pieces crowding my guest room! Love Patty |

Patty m'dear.....maybe you can find someone with more energy level to help you with submitting your work at galleries, etc. Give them a percentage of any sales type of thing? Sort of like an agent

well hehehe I do have a birthday coming up lol. just kidding! if I could afford to buy some of it I sure would! you know you could even sell at the bigger arts and craft shows. the higher dollar ones! I know here at the festivals they sell stuff on the high end. yeah the talent I do have is running my mouth lol. luv u girl!

I've been meaning to check out your work...I keep saying "after I post I'll check them out..." but then I get so busy with other stuff I forget!!!!
