Going to be 33 this month. Remember when 30 sounded really old?

I'm 18..it's still weird getting use to the whole legal adult thing. Like loans and bank accounts and titles on cars. It just feels really strange.

My standard answer to this question is "somewhere between 21 and dead." I'm sticking to it. How old are you?

I hit the 55 mark in February.......The day before my birthday, I got hit with an certified letter from the IRS about back taxes that my husband had hidden from me (& done absolutely nothing about) for almost a year.......can you imagine how old my anxiety made me feel on my birthday......he sure knows how to give birthday presents.....think I'll serve him with the divorce papers on his birthday.

Really though.......now that I am not living in that relationship anymore & have my own farm in KY....I feel like a kid again.....everyday is new & exciting.......guess it's my second childhood & I'm really enjoying it.

I turned 57 last month. When Mozart was my age, he had been dead for 22 years.

Getting older does not really bother me, it beats the alternative. My father is 81, and is often reminding me that I am getting old. I guess it is payback for calling him old so many times.

For all those people who are contrasting the world today to what it was like at age 17, things have changed a lot in 40 years. The Beatles were topping the charts with "Hey, Jude". There were approximately half a million American troops in Vietnam. Mickey Mantle was still playing baseball. A computer was the size of a large room. Some people wore Nehru jackets, but they went out as fast as they came in. No iPods, we actually had to use a phonograph. Or an 8-track.

It wasn't all that bad.

I'm 36...I will be 37 in August.

Seeing the earlier posts about early computers made me think of my first experience with a computer...A Sinclair it didn't have a keyboard instead it had a touchpad. I felt so rich because we had the thing...now my dad has 3 computers. LOL
