I couldn't handle the humidity, the hurricanes and such. I'm gonna stay right here where I got transplanted. The coldest it gets here is around 45 at night. That's cold enough even if it doesn't snow. It gets hot enough and then some for me. When the mercury starts inching up to 80, I've had it! There's no way I could do El Paso summers anymore. Blah!

I was born and raised in Texas during late 70s, 80s, and 90s. I guess maybe I am not that bad, but I am definitely a messed up product of Texas!

Doesn't winter suck? The cold definately does not help me get out of or stay out of bed in the morning. It has been getting dark by 6:00 this past week and it is totally killing my mood.
I am so sorry that this is happening to you sweetie!! I wish that we could have a slumber party... maybe light a fire in a garbage can like they do in the big cities *L*. It will work in a pinch.

Usually, I like winter, especially here in CA since it doesn't get THAT cold. The feeling I got those two days is gone now but yesterday and today, it was really hard getting out of bed. I'm not sure what's happening. Maybe it could be an increase in my Celexa? Doesn't make sense, though. Maybe, too, the answer could be down in Relationships forum under What is love? I don't know. It's been weird for a few days. I'm not liking it.

Say, we don't need a trash can. Hubby bought this fire... uh... container...? It's not a fire ring 'cause it sits up off the ground and it has an expanded metal screen and a lid. We could put the fire in there, but we'd have to sit outside. Otherwise, we'd suffocate ourselves! YIKES! Not to mention the smoke! LOL A slumber party would be so fun! I'm still thinking that someone should bet really social and ambitious and plan a party somewhere so that we could all get together and meet! It's been done! I've attended one of those parties that started on the internet. That was SO MUCH FUN!!!

I'm glad you're feeling better, it's been cool here lately and I LOVE IT...not cold..it's like Spring. But then Fall is my favorite season so ofcourse I love it outside right now.

Ask me in a couple of months....and I will be so dreary. I hate being cooped up but sometimes it's nice to snuggle. So much for my ramblings, I've got a lot of reading to do! You guys have been busy

Yup, I'm feeling better, sorta. Just couldn't stay out of bed yesterday and part of today, but once I got my butt outta bed, I was okay.

Looking forward to one of my grandson's birthday party this Sunday. He was born on Halloween. My son's block is closing off the street and having a block party for Halloween. Gonna celebrate Luc's birthday, too! Never been to a block party before. I hope I don't shrink like a violet. LOL

Oh, Fuzz! I'm getting nervous! It just dawned on me this morning that the ex is going to be there and I plan to not speak to him or acknowledge him! It's always easier when hubs is with me but he's still in Canada. wwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Aren't things easier for you if you're with someone? I'm not missing the party, though, even if I have to sit in a corner. The grandkids will come find me.

Yeah I have been the disappearing one lately. I was very sick last week (some stomach problems) and ended up working almost 55 hours. I just did not have the energy to really post. Weekends are hard for me because the boyfriend loves to get out in the world and do things. So I usually end up fishing, hiking, or hanging out with friends. This past Saturday we went fishing in almost 30 degree weather for a few hours.
So it is hard for me to find a computer to post at sometimes. It is not because I do not love you all!! I usually look forward to Monday because then I can come back to post.
I would love to plan a party with everyone...we really should do it together. We could do it..I know it!!!

That would rock!! If it gets below 70 out then I am freezing so it is cold for me. Have to be like the boys though so I try to be tough even though I am so cold. It is cool to do different things though.
