I was just doing some advanced research on another matter...and see that Mental_Pollution is still green. Is she just inactive or not a mod anymore too? (Along with January.)

I just found one reason why I get confused... I just did an advanced search and found others with green names...who aren't mod any more???

Sabby - I thought administrative issue were to be discussed offline? How about all this green, mod, not a mod stuff get settled privately then posted? It feels like feelings can be hurt when it's discussed publicly.

Who is and who isn't mod or Admin isn't admin issues. It's the decisions that get made by the team that is considered "Admin issues."
 Don't worry about it. Sabby, one of our Admin, responded to the thread, therefore it is legit. It's when someone creates and issue that threads get locked. Sabby is on it so no need for you to worry.

I wanted to add that anyone who was and is no longer a mod or admin... well, that's not a negative thing! We all volunteer some place at some point in our lives, and it doesn't always last. That doesn't negate the service given!

Hey Slippers....thanks for asking your question. I'm sure no one's intention was to hurt anyone at asking the question. I believe the question of who is active/inactive moderators is a valid question and bebop is right, it isn't discussing admin issues so the thread is okay

Absolutely - Having an active accurate list of active admins and mods should be easily accessible - probably at the top of the FAQ.
We'll just have to agree to disagree on whether the *discussion* of who is on or off the list might be uncomfortable to read. S |
