Last week I learned my friend's mom was killed in a car crash.
Today I learned that my best friend's mom attempted suicide. Not sure about all this.

I think on the suicide one, where I have known the woman for.... 19 years and my friend was basically always adopted by my family... you know - it is weird and i am shocked and need to "be there" for my friend (in a different State)... and yet she and I are both in some sort of odd reality denial thing. we know it happened, and yet... can't quite comprehend it. meanwhile, I am dealing with depression, had a full blown anxiety attack this morning before i heard the news (she attempted the suicide this morning) and just... you know - to help my friend i can shelf my own problems and help them... and then when they go, here is all my usual crap again. pardon me - just getting all this out of my head is helpful. And back to work tomorrow. thanks for letting me spew my thoughts in here. kiya

 Kiya I am so sorry. Death is hard to begin with. But put in such unexpected deaths kinda makes the blow even more complicated and harder. Hang in there. |
