I was very humbled today. I had taken my car to get it looked at to see why the brake lights were coming on and it wouldn't start for them to pull it into the bays and found out my battery is bad. So they charged for me and while it was charging they looked at it and diagnosed the problem and I went on my merry way. Well like a dummy I made my other stop I needed to make and have had it drilled into my head that you don't leave your car running when you go into a store so like a dummy I shut it off when I ran into the store to see if I had left my cell phone there. Of course it didn't start when I went out so I went back into the store and called my dad to see if he could come and bring me another battery or at least come jump me so I could take it to the battery place to get another battery. Well he was in a grouchy mood and said he'd come tomorrow and do it he was too busy today to do it and I said no problem I wasn't too far from home I'd just walk home and take care of it tomorrow. Well I was in my car gathering my things to start the walk home and a young man approached me and told me he had jumper cables and that he could push my car out of the parking place I was in to next to his car and give me a jump and I could go home. I was shocked and very appreciative as it had started to rain again. I was pushed next to his car and just then a guy with a pickup pulled up to in front of my car and popped his hood and said he had a better stronger battery and told them to use his battery and it started right away. I was very glad that I didn't have to walk home and just sent a letter to the editor of our local newspaper telling them my story hoping they will publish it so the guys can see that I am appreciative of their help.

It's comforting to know that there are still kind people in the world.

It's really nice when people help out.
