<font color="purple">Celebrate the lemony-gift by going out to dinner

Sooo, today our landlord stoped by, and was like "You're not out yet? I'm calling the sherif to evict you!" he thought we were stupid enough to think that he could do that, because by state law he has to give us 3 weeks notice ON PAPER before being evicted. Now, the reason why we are being evicted isn't becuse we don't pay rent, but because his girlfriend kicked him out (again) and rather then rent his own place he wants to evict us from the building so he can live in our apartment. Weeell, he got into an argument with my step-dad on the phone, who was not going to tolerate his little games, and so...the hunt for the new apartment began! Well, it didn't take long to find a new one, all my step-dad had to do was call one of his good friends that gave him work while he was major depressive...he's a wonderful guy from what I've heard, and as it turns out he actualy has an apartment open for us! (and it's in a better part of the same neighborhood too! And we have no more noisy-chain smoking upstairs neighbors anymore!) sooo, it worked out nicely for us.

So, we celebrated being evicted by going out to dinner lol. </font>

What'dya eat?

I had the exact same ting as my mother did, which was a sirlion-tip salad and iced tea. I felt guilty for not eating any vegtables all day....

Thankfuly, while our landlord is bad with people, he loves animals like us, so we know he'll feed the stray cats (which are basicly our outdoors cats) ...the one bad thing is that when we move, mom says that we can't feed the stray cats anymore because they'd probably bother our neighbors and such. I just get worried that they'd get all cold and hungry, but she said that they are savvy street kitties that aren't used to getting handouts anyways.

Oh!

and speaking of kitties, I used to have an orange and white cat as a child (his name was buttercup, yes, I named a boy cat after a Powerpuff Girl) anyways, he hated staying indoors once we started letting our cats play outside, and one day he ran away and never came back. But mom said, that she was wandering around that old apartment complex once, and she saw him in someone's window, napping. Apparently this nice old man saw him one day and decided to adopt him. It looks like he was meant for the old man instead of me, I'm so happy that he wasn't killed, and happy now because I'm sure he makes the old man feel happy and less lonely. </font>

btw make sure you get some letter of eviction from the landlord or he's liable to charge you for leaving without notice, and not give your deposit back, or some such underhanded thing.
