I'm back from camp again. As upset as I am to be home, I really enjoyed the week. It was staff training week, so we were doing a lot of work. We set up and cleaned a lot of places, worked in the kitchen preparing food and doing the dishes, did maintenance projects like fix the trail around the lake and weed the whole baseball field. To be honest I really liked doing the work. It made me feel like I have a purpose when I was working, especially when I was done. It was also cool to give back to camp by working.

it was the best week of camp ever, in my opinion.
especially since we had sara as our councelor.

I know what you mean about giving back to something is very fulfilling......I know, it feels better to give than to receive most of the time....espceially when it's something we have received so much from in our life.

I am glad you had a good week away from home....& honestly....it is a good thing to get away from home as a break like that can help with emotions even there.
