im waiting with a slight baited breath for my moms reaction, my dad thought they were decent grades (except my drama which i failed fantastically lol) so yeah
i got 3 As, 4 Bs, 4 Cs, and an E.

son got his but he did what i expected es and fs he needed ds for collage so know we need to speak to them

but I'm proud of son coz he tried his best despite his adhd and borderline dyslexia

i put my sons in kudos ... didn't see this post ...... he also got an F in electronics cos the teacher refused to help with his design it wa complicated .... so that he passed was good lol .....

lol. E is not too hot corky. i was being sarcasmatic. lol. but part from the E i did all good.
its good your son did as well as you expected kathy, so i wish him the best for his future.
kerry. lemmie have a go at doms electronics teacher for yas. :P silly peoples.
i was quite surprised that i got a C for math. i was expecting a D. my teachers werent great and i slept for half of the lessons because i was so zonked out (methinks i need to look after myself more) i wont be making the same mistake again. i think i might retake math anyway as they like u to have a B for psychology at uni.
oh. and. i got 4 marks off a B in english lit. im rather annoyed at that :P
but yeah. all together i did alright.
and corky. i growing up fast mentally maybe, but i am still a shorty.
they said u need 5 A* to Cs to get to sixth form.
i have 11 :P so thats not bad.
my little brother is now saying hes gonna thrash me. and so is my other bro actually. henry will. bertie..... hmm. not if he keeps up his behavior like it is.
i have to go and ask all my friends what their grades are now :P

I seriously don't understand your grading system! Here, it's A, B, C, D, F. C is average, D is "better take it again if you want it to count for anything" and F is "very bad, forget about it, fail". A person might get into some universities with C's, if they have money to pay for it and it's not a "good" school. Your system seems so different!

Sounds like you did great...clearly you are pleased!

It's pretty much the same here for GCSEs.

After those we have Alevels from 16-18, where A is very good, and E is a pass, but not a good enough one to get you to uni unless you have other better grades with it.
