I worked today for the first time in six months! Had a good time, got real muddy and wet and cold, and didn't get payed very well. Plus I get to go back tomorow. The guy I worked with was real nice and was pleased with my efforts. Now, not to say I was designing rockets or anything. I unloaded a bunch of counter tops and stuff, plus I pounded in a bunch of fence poles and put up about 300 feet of safety fence, nuttin' special, but it was work, and two weeks ago I couldn't. It's a start, anyways. Thank you all for your support. It means the world to me! Good News!

YAY! Good for you! Work is meant to pay the bills, anything beyond that is gravy. If you can find something you love you are lucky. I'm glad you made the first steps. Way to go!

That's awesome to hear you wrenchy KRD!! Good News!

Your job title is not important.......what is important is the attitude with which you approach your work. You're stoked to be working and I'm sure that will show in your quality of work.

Whether you're pounding fence poles, tickity tap typing on some computer for some 'man', or scrubbing toilets.......do the best you can at whatever you are doing.

Now I forget your hound's name but give him a skritch for me and tell him he's a good boy. I think you're a good person too KRD. I'm very happy to hear your good news. Thank you for sharing with us!

I love your attitude. It's tops. I come from a blue-collar family, and all work is honorable to us.

And sloppy kisses to that dog. I sure miss mind.

Congratulations and best wishes for many more days like that one, BRD.

Congratulations!! Getting muddy can be fun. There are some days that I wish that I had a craftsmen job so that I could be outside and moving around instead of inside of an office. Cool
