I've been patiently waiting for the smilies to be restored but nothing has changed yet. I only see a very, very few. The rest are boxes with the red X in it. Is it my settings or are we still working on the smilies.
 When I talk in 3D, I talk with my hands. When I talk on here, I talk with smilies. Somebody untie my hands! Please! Oh... and another thing; Are we going to be able to set the size type for the whole board or just what we type? Makes it hard for those of us whose glasses aren't strong enough to see the teeny tiny font. GEEESH!

  The smilies are working fine for me, all 171 of them. Sorry yours aren't working. Maybe you have one of these walking around in the system...:icon_evil:

I'll have to check my settings, I guess.Did they just appear magically with the move? The ones at the bottom of the page are all there, but those go with the subject line. The ones on the side that go in the body of the post/PM are the ones that are mostly missing. I miss my  guy! WAAAAAANope! The blue face is the only one that shows for me. No :rotfl: or my guy.

The smilies were not working when we first moved but DocJohn fixed them on the Monday. When you click on the 'More' button (just under the 15 smilies on the right) does that work for you or not? I guess as a last resort you could manually type in the code. FAQ smilie codes - http://forums.psychcentral.com/misc.php?do=showsmilies Some of them are slightly different.  is now ROTFLMAO...  and the guy is now with a 'D'...  oh: Maybe reloading the page would help, I don't know, hope it gets sorted out soon for you.

ROTFLMAO has to be in capitals with the : either side. Like this but with no gaps : ROTFLMAO :

Ok! Gotcha! The "more" wasn't popping up but I fixed it with the popup blocker (changed it to medium). Now I can get the popup and only 5 smilies at the very beginning don't show. I think I can make it now! WHEEEEWWWWW! LOL I wanna see what holysheep looks like, though! :Ponder: hehe

Sorry, much functionality and features of the software here rely on pop-ups and AJAX and having a relatively newer browser. The basic stuff works (and there are work-arounds) for folks on older browsers, but you really should add PsychCentral.com to your allowed pop-up lists (especially since we don't have any pop-up advertising here)...
