I wasn't sure where to put this, so if it doesn't belong here, I am sorry....Please move it if necessary.

:Bawling::Noooo::Bang-Head::th_rant9cs::icon_mad::mf_argue::Sob::icon_sad:

I....AM....So....ANGRY!!! I don't know why! I am just feeling really angry, tired and sad at the same time.

I just want to YELL!!!! #(I&$&$*@($*!#

I didn't deal with mom's birthday yesterday at all....I avoided it. I just couldn't let myself deal with it. I went to work, went shopping with my BF and stopped by my step-dad's house to say Hi and see how he was doing....he seemed fine, just lonely.

I didn't get enough sleep last night because I was having weird dreams and the BF was snoring like a bear. I got up about 5am and played video games for about an hour, laid back down and just tossed and turned for the next four hours before deciding to just get up and make coffee.

I am dealing with that stupid car accident since April and I have so many appointments that I can't keep track of them all. Between my therapist, the spinal doctor, the physical therapist, the chiropractor and the psychiatrist I feel like I have no life right now....I live by my appointments. Plus, I have to pay the bills out of my pocket (my 20% co-pay from insurance) and that is adding up. I am still paying off the hospital and ambulance, as well as the payments every week for the doctors that I have to pay during the visit because they don't take payments! The Insurance company for the guy that hit me won't pay anything until I am all done with my appointments and get all my bills together to submit to them.

My car is dying. I inherited it from a friend and it is up to 231,000 miles. It has gotten me from California to Idaho twice! So, it has done a great job, but I need a new one. I can't afford it due to all of the medical bills I am dealing with from the accident.

I tried to get a lawyer to help, he sent me a contract to sign, but the percentages were different than what he quoted in the office. I left him a message TWO WEEKS ago to call me back and explain the difference and I never heard from him. Now I have no lawyer to help me and because of all my appointments I have no time to find another.

I still haven't gotten my taxes done this year because I have so many other things to worry about, so I have to find time to get that done before October 15th (I think that's the deadline). I don't owe anything, so I will be ok (I sorta did the paperwork a little). Because I have two states to do taxes on it, I think it would be easier to let a pro do it...I can't even figure out what forms to do because there are too many.

My BF just lost part of his tooth while eating lunch yesterday and he has no insurance and his job consists of online designs that sell through websites, so that is nothing that brings in a ton of money...he just has enough to help with food and his part of the bills. So, now I am trying to help him figure out how to go about getting that tooth fixed without costing a lot of money. Oh, for those who ask "why doesn't he have a regular job?" he has been searching for MONTHS now. He loves what he does and I don't care what he does as long as he helps pay the rent, power and food bills.

OK, this has turned out a lot longer than expected, but getting it out has helped a little.

I am so sorry that I went off like that, but I really really needed to get it out.

BJ

I can relate to almost all of it. It does suck, and it's perfectly OK to rant! You've certainly earned it!

I hope things get better for you soon. Since I'm in largely the same predicament, I can't offer much but an ear, but if you want to vent to me, I'm certainly available!

Wow - you've certainly got a lot on your plate, so you have every right to have a little rant now and again.

Just a thought about your boyfriend's tooth - is there a dental school in your area? They often have clinics that are low / no cost for the students to get practice on.

Hope things get better for you soon.

I can relate to how you are feeling also......after receiving the response letter from the IRS 2 weeks ago telling me how much I end up owing now...less than before but more than I should......I went into hibernation mode......if I had all the appointments you have, I would have been in trouble......the things we have to handle realy do effect us & put us in overload mode.

I hope you can sort things out & get some solutions with the lawyer & other issues.

Thining of you,
Debbie

Whew! You have so much to handle! No wonder you wanted to rant-you earned it!! I'm so sorry you have to go through all this. Regarding the attorney, this is kind of along the lines of the dental comment: if you have a college nearby, law students have to do pro bono work (at least here they do) so you may want to look into that. Also ask your insurer if they provide an attorney. The doctor's office that I work at offers hardship waivers for patients who are unable to pay. It's not something we advertise, so you may have to ask for it, but it's worth a shot talking to the billing manager or doctor. Good luck and remember we're here.

Thank you everyone!!! Such good ideas about the schools and asking the doctors for assistance, too!!! I will look into it!

Thanks for letting me rant, I really appreciate it.
