How do you control your racing thoughts? Today I have been plagued by them. They are more questions like why questions. Like why do things happen to people questions. It is about to drive me more bonkers than I already am LOL.

Are you a bit stessed out at the moment jbug? Try and find some way to relax if you can, listen to calming music or have a warm bath.

Actually, I remember many years ago someone said to me to imagine the thoughts were on a conveyer belt and to just watch them moving along and let go of the thought.

Hope this helps.

Try writing down everything you are thinking. The writing process slows things down.

Also, go for a walk or do jumping jacks. That will get your breathing in rhythm and connect you more with your body, which should slow your thoughts.

Finally, do you meditate? That would help a lot. The music idea is golden. Try putting on some headphones, lie on your bed with pillows under your knees.

Of course, sometimes fast beat music will match your mental energy levels and help you let go.

Please let us know what works. Good luck kiddo.
