Apparently it's World Mental Health Day on the 10th of October... I wasn't aware of it and it's on this date every year.
I've always been a caring person and like to do my bit and over the past year or so I've been thinking about doing various charity events. At the moment I've just become a volunteer at like a youth exclusion program.

Anyway... I've never set up anything on my own, and I don't really know enough people to do it. Is it as simple as just sending information around? Maybe asking my T to pass information onto others to see if they'd like to get involved? I'd hate to think I could organise something and only me turn up... I'd feel terrible for the charity.

Has anybody done it before?
I think I'm just grasping at straws here? I just really feel like doing something

It's a place where kids join in activities and workshops... there are lots of things, from football to cooking to crafts and even a chance to build their own bicycle.
It's for youths that are either 'at risk' of offending or have offended or have issues with alcohol or drugs or are repeatedly expelled from schools and have behavioral issues etc. It's a place for them to get away and focus on something else.
I kind of supervise and I'm there if they want to talk to someone.
