<font color="blue">Wow, how can it be? Today I begin my second year coming to this site! How it has changed. How have I changed?

Passage of time is always a mystery to me. Being a student of time-space continuum quantum physics... how looking forward to that time seems a forever wait, and looking back is fleeting!

Here on this site, with it's improvements to appearance, options and function, it's a good place to come. It is now a site where we now have more chatting in the chat room at any given time than we had in our Tuesday Hosted Scheduled chat then! And we no longer have a handgun or poop for icons in chat, but a few flowers ... we still need more food like pizza, and different colored flowers and such...
We have more post icons and forums! I can't figure out just how many more forums we have since I joined, but it's more than 5 I think!
There are plenty of other changes I've failed to note about this place. One thing has remained pretty consistent: the support we receive. Yes, from time to time a snert-type person comes along and it's quite evident they don't belong here.. and soon enough they are gone on to another site that promotes the hate and anger they hold.

But in general, we get along here pretty dog-gone well! No, we don't know all 6000 members (gosh, how many were there when I joined? My number is 3500 something.) Studies show that no matter how large the organization is that you're a member, your main group of friends/acquaintances in that group remains about 60. And for my 60, it remains a mutual admiration society.

A year ago, hey, a week ago, I didn't plan on being alive today. And at times I am "ashamed" to be relying upon this site for my existence. (another thread?) But I'm out of the closet with my T on that one: he knows I'm here, can come by if he wishes (he won't) and verify what dilemmas this site has caused me, and helped me solve.

My thanks to all who have had a part in this journey.

Long post, I know, but it has been a year! One Year @ Psychcentral!

Happy
Anniversary Sky. Congrats.
It seems you have found a safe place to talk and everyone needs that in their lives.
I know this place wouldn't be as great as it is without you so I'm glad you're here.
hugs
Tina

How can it be? Well.............it just is!

I hope that you are able to see your past year of posting here as progress and growth. I know that in the short time I've been posting here I've seen differences in your style of posting.

Since I'm not firing on all pistons after therapy today so I'll keep this short.

Glad you've been here a year and hope that you continue.
