Why I "heart" PsychCentral

1. Because I've met really special people here.
2. I get to be silly any time I want.
3. DocJohn misses Tuesday TV night to hang out with us in chat.
4. Patient volunteers who are our wonderful moderators.
5. Amazing writers in the Creative Corner.
6. The young people remind me of my youth, and the older folks keep me company in my dotage.
7. It gives me a public forum for teasing GardnerGirl, AllDone, __ZH, SweetC, Kimmy, etc.
8. If I'm having a bad day, I can come here and find someone having a WORSE day!
9. Sometimes there is funny stuff in the "Plants" forum.
10. It can be what we make it. I hope for all of us, it's about taking care of each other.

1. Because she's silly any time she wants.
2. She teases me.
3. She's cute. I know she is cuz she told me so .
4. She writes posts about why she "hearts" PsychCentral and it makes everyone feel good about being here.
5. Did you know she's a dog? It says so in her bio. Woof! I love dogs!
6. She's so dang smart.
7. She's a great cheerer upper.
8. She listens to me go on and on and on .
9. She loves pie .
10. She's a really, really special person.

Emmy, Have I ever told you that I completely "heart" you? You have the best way of approaching things. Every time I see you post or reply to a thread (especially a when there's a conflict going on) I am happy- and relieved- to see that you've chimed into the conversation. You have such a way with calming things down, making a bad situation better, and still letting others feel heard. Incredible.

AND... I have the Young Frankenstein DVD!!! I wish you ALL were in Utah so we could have a big abby normal psychcentral party at my place!!!!

I psychcentral because...

1. I have met so many friends here that I love dearly
2. It's the first place in my life I've felt like it really was "okay" for me to be me. First place I was able to talk to other people who si, and feel understood. First place I was able to share my the pain of my past with people who *know what it's like*, etc. The only place where I can talk about my struggles in therapy with people "get it"- the whole therapy thing
3. I can tell you all my secrets (well, most of them lol!) I can be happy, mad, scared, sad, confused, whatever!
4. The littles in the dissociative forum, especially when they are being silly . (The "bigs" in the dissociative forum, too )
5. Always having someone to talk to- I don't get that in 3d much.
6. Those bouncy chillie things.
7. That flashing envelope telling me I have a pm is WAY more exciting than the word "inbox" in bold on my email lol
8. Emmy, Laurie, Pat, gg, _zh, Shar, etc and all their funny antics. I LOVE and adore you ladies!!!
9. Tomi's inspirational posts (I am sorry I don't usually reply to them, but I do like them)
10. Watching you all grow and learn and heal...Growing, and learning, and healing along-side you...
