ok today was and is a VERY BAD day for me. i just started work last week at home depot and i thought i had work today. so i got up and ready and left the house. i went out to my back yard to go to the garage to get my bike and i ended up tripping and falling and i seriously f%*#?! my left wrist up. since i'm uninsured, i cant get the medical attention i need. i live w/my brother and sister in law but they're assholes and arent willing to help me out money wise so i dont know what the hell i'm going to do. my brother gave me some medication to help ease the pain but i had a bad reaction to it. i started sweating, got dizzy and felt like throwing up. when i was coming back downstairs after going upstairs to ask for help, i fell down a few stairs. and my brother is getting mad AT me cause he's saying i have a bad attitude. um.... I EFFING HURT MYSELF BADLY AND I CANT RECEIVE THE MEDICAL ATTENTION I NEED CAUSE I'M UNINSURED! i think i have the right to be pissy and *****y. i dont know what i'm gonna do. i knew something bad would happen. things go good. i started college and work and then BANG! bad things happen. i want to effing scream!!!!!!

((((((((((((( Whatsinthebox ))))))) I am sorry that you got hurt. Hospitals have to see patients even if they don't have insurance and if you are low enough income you can apply to have the bill written off so it won't cost you anything. In the event that you make to much for this program they can set up a payment plan to fit your income, if you feel that you should seek medical attention then I suggest that you do. I hope that you get to feeling better.

In addition to what the others have said...if you are in college, you can go to the student health center.

I’m sorry that you hurt yourself but this is not your brother’s fault. You do have the right to be frustrated, but not to take it out on them. You call him an asshole, but he’s allowing you to live with him. That sounds like a pretty good guy to me. Pick up a wrist brace from the pharmacy or department store and take advil for the pain and inflammation. A sprain can be worse than a break, but the only thing that you can really do is RICE:

Rest
Ice (ice for 20 – 30 minutes an hour until swelling is gone)
Compression
Elevation.
