As you all have known I have been doing dentist apts since the 22 of sept. All of it was suppose to take only 5 hours. It turned out to be a bigger issue. But even with all the pian I am very gratefully to my dentist, This week I had 2 apts 3 hours each. Lots of pain.
On tuesday my cat spunky ran into a wall . Spunky still at 7 years of age thinks hes a kitten. Spunky when he was very very little someone threw him out a car window. He has always had problems seeing and a few other issues...but what a great cat. He wakes me every morning at 4;30 by knocking everything off my night stand.
this week that ended. By thurday after dentist apt I checked his mouth again. Sure enough he had hurt himself. I called the vets office. I am so blessed by them. I called at 12;30 they had him in by 2. He needed 2 shots and meds for a bit.
The sad part is there is something wrong with his retinias now. I thought maybe that had been coming on as he was having a little harder time seeing. Looks at floor when he walks.
But now I wonder if he hurt them when he ran into the wall as this morning he still could not find my room. I could hear him meawing very loadly this morning. I kept calling him. He answered but just could not find his way.
He is very much part of the family. I do love that cat and circle dog would be so very lost with out him.
I would have put this in social but its not really a nice post. awwww
My heart goes out to this cat........The reason the vet said the ppl threw him away was because he had one white spot on his paw. Hes a simaesse ((spelled wrong)) a special breed. That spot in thier eyes made him un sellable
How sad is that.............How blessed am I to have recieved him

(((aww muffy and spunky)))

Sorry for all the dentist trials and tribulations, i sure know what thats like. Ive had two out recently.

You know, that white spot just makes spunky special. I've never understood the whole breed specific, show cat thing. Personally for me I just like the affection a cat can give.

Spunky doesn't go outside does he? I wouldn't want him to get lost.

Animals are pretty good for finding there way around even while blind. Could it be he sight has just gotten worse as of lately enough to confuse him and he just hasn't caught up yet?

I'm sorry to hear about yours and spunky's problems this week.

I do hope you recover soon and that spunky can get some spunk back when he's feeling better.
