i see this type of behavior a lot. i think that many men, in particular, will say anything to get out of being open and honest with a therapist. it's only the truly motivated men that step up to the plate. i'd discuss this dilemma with your t. there's no point in him participating if he's only willing to head nod to take the onus off him.
sorry, guys, but that's the way i see it. i know some men are not this way, but men's minds are constructed differently-a medical fact-and women reason and are more in touch with their feelings. i'ts not that men can't do this but the task takes more willingness. carl jung, in your signature, seemed to see this too.
