I'm going to write diploma work in psychology about blogs and communication skills of blogers... but I have to ground on other researches... so, maybe someone know, if there any researches in this field and where could I find them?

interesting subject for writing. im curious though, about the details.
are you going to be following certain bloggers? will you be interviewing them or comparing them to others? will the bloggers know you are doing research on their posts? will you be including quotes from their posts in your research? will this be published? |

if my diploma work subject will be accepted, I'm going to take interviews from Latvian blogers in real life and maybe some communication skills tests and will compare results to control group, but before making this research I have to find some other researches in this field....
if everything will be ok, I'll translate my diploma in english and place it in the Internet... |

Are you looking specifically for blog research related to psychology, for instance blogs by patients with mental health issues?
Also, are you living in Latvia? Is your "diploma work" for graduation from what level of education? Would it be the same as the 4-year degree US students get after high school? Or a diploma above that? I'm sure we'd be happy to help out. DocJohn has been blogging forever. Have you looked at his? emmy |

yes, I'm looking for blog research related to psychology, I want to compare communication skills between blogers and not-blogers... but it can be something different....
yes, I'm living in Latvia and I'm the last year student of psychology, I suppose it could be the same as the 4-year degree US students get after high school... in Latvija it is... I haven't looked at this yet, but will do it today... P.S. my english is not very good, so, something I could be mistaken in some names... |

You might be interested in this website The Psychology of Cyberspace , though it isn't specifically about blogs.
Or, here's a search page I found that has a bunch of psychology blogs (docJohn's came up on the list  ) Psychology & Research Blogs
