it is amazing what having a small one in the house will do. I picked up our 5 year old friend today who wanted to "PLAY" with hubby. They have been at playmobil and legos most of the day and took a trip to the book store where they met a 3 year old and read stories. Now my youngest, 17 is home and I hear all three of them pawing in the 50 pound collection of legos and singing Of course I am aware that at this stage of the game I am chopped liver unless he gets a boo boo. But there are wonderful sounds coming from my living room.

Yay! For the wonderful sounds. Who else could do the boo boo thing like you that is evidently much appreciated? It's ok.

I love when kids visit!

I remember when my cousin and her 2 daughters visited this summer. We had kittens in our bathroom at the time and the oldest loved to come play with them.

My favorite memory is her putting them in time out. It was too cute.

Makes me want 1...or 2...or 10 of my own. A young child

lol...can I still send them home at the end of the day?

There are also days when I come home from work...meet my husband at the door and say, "I AM NEVER HAVING KIDS"

lol

Little guy is still here and may be for quite a while as we blizzarded and the wind is causing major drifts. He is playing on the floor still and again with hubby and daughter. His very own playmates. He was so proud because instead of sleeping in my daughter's room in the extra bed, or up with my other daughter in her big bed he fell asleep on the couch and got my son's dog to keep him safe and warm all night. When he came up this morning my little ones started growling and we thought they were growling at son's dog. They didn't know it was him. Hubby will be tired and his going home will be a good thing. Small doses as how else would any work get done?
