I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. Hello Everyone!
I'm new here. A friend told me about this site and how great she thought it was here. Hello Everyone!

I needed a place to go. Somewhere that I could talk with people who understand and where I could give and receive support.

So to start off just a little info about me.....

I'm 25 and I have struggled with depression since I was about 11 years old. I was eventually diagnosed with PTSD, and Major Depressive Disorder, chronic & severe. I also SI. If you want to know more about me or my history I am really open to talk and I am also a good listener. I would love to hear more about all of you as well. (I know spending time on these forums I will learn about you but you can also send me a message if you'd like to talk. I'd love to listen or meet some friends.) If you need someone to talk to I am here.

I am starting college this fall to begin working on a degree in psychology. I want to help others who are hurting or struggling.....make a difference in people's lives if I can.

I guess that's all...not sure what else to say... Hello Everyone!

I don't know how often I will be able to come here for now. There are a lot of tough things going on in my life lately and so I don't have much time. But as soon as things calm down I hope to spend more time here....become more apart of the community here and meet some friends. Hello Everyone!

I already like it here and feel comfortable. I look forward to talking more with all of you. This seems like a great place.

~Hugs for everyone that needs one~

Take care

Welcome. ^^ Psychology is an interesting field of study, good luck with everything! I like was SweetCrusader says, about how it's better that a psych know what their patience are going through, then to of been gifted with perfect mental health. (She says it better though)

^_^ Hope everything goes well, welcome. It is a nice one.
