A worm that spreads through low security networks, memory sticks, and PCs without the latest security updates is posing a growing threat to users.
The malicious program, known as Conficker, Downadup, or Kido was first discovered in October 2008. Although Microsoft released a patch, it has gone on to infect 3.5m machines. If only you posted a day sooner. I got hit with this worm yesterday.
 What a hassle. I hope they find whoever is responsile for this and put him/her in jail. Everythings ok now, but it took so long to repair.

I don't see what the big fuss is, they are the biggest corporation out there computer/technology wise with the exception of their crappy mp3 players....I mean all you gotta know is a little about computers and the worm is gone....its gone for me.

Not all of us are as tech savvy as you. this worm infected 146 of my files, and my anti-viral program. I'm a people person, not a tech person.
