Hi, I know this is a mental health site so where else but here should I put this? This is a funny, not serious. Some of you may remember that I wanted a puppy during the holidays? I have 2 poodle terriers who are my best friends in the world. Well, today I mentioned it to someone on the phone when I was working and it seems that a deceased client's daughter has a poodle mix male that will be ready Feb 12, Oh man, I know I am so nuts! I am a little nervous, hope it will be a good fit. It is a boy puppy. I am in hopes that my 2 little ones will want to parent it. I don't want jealousy. I am not going to tell my spouse though. Really, I need my head examined! Me and critters!

It's not you who needs your head examined - it's everyone else I need a psychiatric evaluation. Fun I hope the new pup will feel at home with the other animals. Hmmm. what are you going to do? Pick up the pup and surprise hubby with it by saying, "Honey, meet our new baby boy"? lol

I'm the same way, except with cats. I had 2, 4 year old male cats and this summer we adopted Socks. He was "adopted" with my brother's cat as his mama barn cat abandoned him. I need a psychiatric evaluation. Fun

My cousins threw him out when their new dog didn't get along with his adopted mom. I need a psychiatric evaluation. Fun The barn kitties picked on him, so I brought him in and adopted him.

Hokie and Ollie growled...as did he for a few days, but now they wrestle and play just like brothers. I'd bring in another one if I could...but not only would my family disown me...so would hubby. lol

Animals adjust. You'll be fine. I need a psychiatric evaluation. Fun Send pictures! I need a psychiatric evaluation. Fun

I do too. Two dogs and two cats in the house, plus barn cats, sheep, goats, llamas, ... I think it's hopeless. But there's nothing like curling up with a warm sleepy fuzzball.

I love you guys, faver, a woman after my own heart. My son called and asked what I wanted for my birthday and I said, a doddie bed? He said that's for the dogs, I told him yeah but it would make me happy. Then I had to tell him about the new baby and he made such a big deal out of telling me how nuts I am. I knew that. Maybe I should get a car operated dog warming blanket instead so I can bring the kids with me more? Hmmm

Well, baby came home on Friday night. Daughter had named him Willy until someone said it meant penis so now it is a Benny. He weighed 2.5 pounds yesterday. First night he slept well, last night kept us up a lot. This morning hubby put him on the bed for a minute and he peed. OOPS. He is going outside with the big guys a lot. Hit or miss, I don't think he recognizes when he needs to go yet. He is in a little sling around my neck as I type. Sleeping. Hubby scared him with the vacuum. Poor baby. Last night all he wanted was to play. He eats hair. fingers are even better. He is adorable and the other children seem to be tolerating him. I am going to bring him later to see a friend. He'll have to come to work with us tomorrow. Oh, such a burden! I have to figure out out to keep them warm when I am in a house where I can't bring the children in. New places or places where they don't like my kids. He's fat, largest from his litter and is very round. He may be 12-16 pounds full grown. I have a digital camera my son got me so I can figure it out and post pics of him. And his sibs of course.

Congrats on your new baby. I don't think you need a psych evaluation because if you do, then I would too. I need a psychiatric evaluation. Fun I'm a cat person, major dog phobia regardless of size. I am able to look at pics though so will be anxious to see your little baby. I'm sure he is just adorable, but then again, what animal isn't. I need a psychiatric evaluation. Fun

I have 2 kitties and would love to have more but if I just happened to find another I need a psychiatric evaluation. Fun I'm sure my family would have me commited. I don't think they understand though, seeing as they don't have any. My kitties are my babies and I spoil them rotten. You sound very much the same. I need a psychiatric evaluation. Fun
