Tell me anything, about your day, something about your self, introduce yourself, tell me a funny story, a sad story, anything at all.

I'm feeling very depressed and alone tonight so i could use the distraction.

Hi Rainbowzz....

I am here for you. So here is my story.

There is this bridge in Germany and my sister took a picture of it and made a scrapbook page of it. The name of the bridge is the Devil's bridge and this is why it is called the Devil's bridge. I cut and pasted the journaling from her page here for you....

"The bridge is known as Devils Bridge because of a popular legend that is as follows. A master mason had begun its building but soon realized he would not have it finished by the time they had agreed upon. He was afraid of the possible consequences so he asked the Devil to help him. The Devil agreed to complete the bridge in one night in exchange for the spirit of the first one who crosses it. The contract was signed but the builder went to a priest for advice. The priest told him to let the first one across the bridge be a pig, and so it was...the devil was defeated and he disappeared into the depths of the river, never to be seen again in that area."

im hopeing you are feling better - sending lots of

many years ago a sad bear lived under a hill all alone and blue
he stayed in his cave all day - didnt know what to do
then a stranger came and asked him out to play
He hasnt lost his happy smile since that day

We are like the sad bear - hiding all alone
waiting for someone to make our house a home
to fill it up with laughter and all things good and true
to take away our sadness, stop us from feeling blue

So dont sit there in silence
jump up and make a din
the only way to happiness
comes from that land within

So here I pass the torch to you
and it will light the dark
it burns as bright as any sun
because it comes to you from my heart

Hope things improve for you - dont let the darkness win P7

im sorry you are feeling lonely right now, i can understand and relate to that, while i was single with the two oldest girls we were housed in a one bedroom bedsit, and the main room was divided down the middle one side was front roon and other the bedroom this wall had a oppening for a door and half was a window

so once i put the girls to bed i found it hard to find things to do so as not to disturb them, so i used to sit on the door step reading and hopping ppl would past just soi had adult conversation, only problem with is my door faced out the back and the bigger flats above me there main entrance was in the front, only a odd few ppl would past

the things we do for adult conversation

I have a story- Friday I met with the Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities rep, and this organization if offering to pay ALL COSTS for me to earn my Master's in Early Elementary Education, to be a kindergarten teacher! I have loved kids deeply my whole life and have none, so this would truly be a dream come true. I am a substitute now, and doing so well and teaching with such enthusiasm!!!!!!!!!!

Hi!! I hope you are feeling better! I'll tell you quickly about Kaity's karate tournament yesterday. She dropped her bo on her first toss but kept going and the rest was great. She placed third in forms and for sparring there were no girls in her division (13-15 advanced girls) so she asked if she could spar with the boys. I didn't care because that's all she trains with. The judge said he didn't care but asked the boys if they wanted to spar her---they all said no except her friend!!! No, they said, but she can fight whoever wins! So these boys didn't want to spar her but she could spar the boy that beats them all!! She did--it was a kid who didn't even come up to her shoulders!! She doesn't like sparring kids smaller than her regardless of age or rank so she went easy on him, not even throwing one of her famous side kicks! She lost by 1 point but still got a 1st place by default for her division. That's my Kaity---5'7" 109 pounds sparring the boys!!

Thanks AAAAA. That sounds like a wonderful day. Nothing like a loved one and cherished pets. My cats are helping to keep me sane.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier and that you're feeling down. I've had a good / frustrating day with the ministry of transportation. My plates expired on the 8'th. I've been really busy with work and totally forgot about renewing them. My own fault I know. So this morning on my way to work, I got pulled over by the OPP for having expired plates - they must have been checking random plates on the highway. But he let me off with a warning, since it was only by one day. I saw way more than usual OPP cars on the highway, so I figure some kind of blitz was on.

Then when I went to the Ministry Office to renew I had to pay close to $200 in parking ticket fines, I've accumulated in the past year - I view that as a part of cost of living in Toronto, but what really ticked me off was the new $60 road tax. It's an annual tax on all vehicles registered within the city. I guess in principle I support it, because it funds road repair and transit so it's a good tax, still it's 60 bucks. So all in all it cost me over $300 to renew my plates for another year. But I have my new sticker for my plate, and I'm good to go for another year.

Plus today was my day to only work half a day so that was good. Didn't go to my treatment group as I have a viscous head cold and I don't want to infect everybody, but I should still be able to make my AA meeting tonight.

Its true isin't it. sometimes we just need a conversation that doesnt consist of talking about doo-doo and nappies and sippy cups and such. Dont get me wrong, i love him to death but sometimes everyone needs breaks.

Split,

Don't you wonder sometimes if cars are more hell than they are worth? It just seems like it is SO HARD to keep one going with everything they require and then half the time they need repairs or something. I'm sorry you had to go through all that, but glad you made it!

Taking your vitamin C i hope, it will help with the cold, and you might want to try echinachea too(check with docs about meds interactions though). Take care of yourself

Let's see...

this morning I learned exactly how Caleb opens levered handled doors that open IN towards him.

We were at the vets to make sure the pieces of the rubber ball some neighbor tossed into his yard aren't becoming complicated... Caleb was rather impatient and before the vet came in, Caleb decided to open the door to leave (I guess.)

Opening doors that push outwards of course are easy (with lever handles.) But in? Well, he does the same full-bodied pawing with his two front feet, but once he connects with the handle he curls his paw under and the nails grip the handle and as he comes down he pulls towards him and VOILA door is open. Escape!
