How do I know if my brother needs to go to the crisis center? He will not go on his own.

if u fear that he may be a harm to himself or others the "system" can assist once they make an assessment. it's called the baker act.
in the meantime you can call a crisis hotline to get some input regarding your brother. there must be a reason you are concerned. does your brother have a therapist of psychiatrist? unless he's sgined a waiver for you to discuss him, your hands are tied. BUT if he does have a therapist or pdoc you can certainly call and make them aware of what's going on and your concerns. they can't discuss your brother with you but you are initiating another avenue where some intervention may be be possible. i hope your brother gets the help he may need. you are a loving brother to reach out for help with your questions regarding him.
