I don't know if any of you noticed I haven't posted in a few days (probably not), but I've been in the hospital. My Aunt had a heart attack and has been there all weekend. It hit me particularly hard because when me and my parents were fighting I stayed with her and we've been really close since. At times she's been more of a mother to me than my own mother. She is still there and is doing a little better, but is still in the ICU. I don't really know much of what is going on because I don't know a lot about medicine, but I'm really scared I'm going to lose her. I don't know why I'm saying this to a bunch of strangers who don't care but I really just need to vent. *sigh* I'm just at a loss of what to do...

I wish I had some advice for you. I do hope your aunt will be okay. Please keep us posted and know we are thinking of you

Several of my close relatives have had health episodes this year. I just want to grab on tight to everyone and say, "No, no, don't leave me here all alone. I love you."

I can help you a bit with the medicine side of your aunt's illness. Is she in CCU or ICU? That can tell you right away how sick she is....CCU is strictly for heart patients. ICU is for a plethora of illnesses/traumas....These days there have been so many advancements in heart care that I suspect that she'll recover nicely. I'm rooting for you and your aunt.......pat

She's in the ICU and from what everyone tells me one of her arteries exploded? I don't know if thats possible but she's stable and this is the first time since friday she's had a semi normal heartrate. Thanks for the support guys, I really need it, it helps to know your all here for me.

Hey ((((((((((broken)))))))))). I know we haven't met yet but I want oyu to know that I care as well. One of the things you'll find is that everyone here cares. I'm sorry that you're having to go through this, but I'm so very happy that she is stable now. There's not much advise to give when something like this happens, but I'm here for ya and rootin for you and your aunt. You and yours are in my thoughts anr prayers. Good luck.
