What'd I do? Pet Peeves

Another pet peeve would have to be someone eating something I put in the refrigerator (or pantry) to save. Grrrr

I've heard many complaints about the Canadian health care system. (not that ours is anything to be proud of) I remember visiting Montreal and couldn't believe how high the sales taxes were!

Actually, in comparison I think ours is probably a lot better than yours in some respects. It's FREE!!! But sometimes like I said, you get what you pay for, meaning you get nothing but at least you don't get any dang bill either and you don't need to have your own insurance for most things.

More pet peeves:

winter: snow, sleet, ice, black ice, freezing rain, you got the picture
winter driving, ooooooooh hate that one with a passion.

(Don't know how I forgot to mention this one.)

People with those pounding base sound systems in their automobiles.

They'll even park outside my building with that stuff playing.

It's too much for me to handle, so I have no clue as to how THEY can handle it.

Just another one of those self centered macho behaviors in which this culture seems to promote and reward.

I agree on this, I literally (sp?) saw the body of this dude's jeep shaking from the vibration of some rap thing he was into, I like music loud but not to that extent. . . hearing aid companies and ear docs will have a lot of future clients down the road. Pet Peeves Pet Peeves

I don't know if someone else mentioned this but people talking on cellphones in public drive me crazy.......I don't CARE that they can't find the correct lettuce, etc, etc, etc when the wife sent them to the store....enough already!!

Oh me too, it makes me crazy, the ones driving and yacking scare me more, I have almost been rear ended nearly 100 times this year and it is only March, ha!ha!
One time when I was at a restaurant, using the ladies room, a woman was in the next stall doing her business and talking on her cell. . . how gross!!!! And so unecessary was the conversation, it could have waited.
I'm just now 48 and I guess I am getting too old fashioned, I have a cell to use for emergencies, and while driving I keep it turned off, ha!ha!
Oh, I wish they made cell phones not to work once the car is in "Drive", it would be a great safety feature, eh?
Take care, this was fun talking with you and the rest here, gave me many laughs, lord knows, we can all use laughter in our lives Pet Peeves
Oh I forgot this one, when I was on the PA tpk once a guy in a fancy car was obviously arguing with someone on his cell, fueling his road rage, and the sob almost cut me off by an inch or so, I exagerate a tad, ha!ha! But all joking aside I bet arguments on cells trigger more road rage.
Oh, I better stop ragging on about cells, I do not want to offend anyone, cause that wasn't my intention. I just got a kick how many of us have similar peeves Pet Peeves Pet Peeves

Oh yeah, especially the time I had a deer smash into the side of my car and my home phone was busy, grrrrrrrrrr!!
After that we got internet through our cable system.
Yep, busy signals and cheezy hold recordings, I lose patience, hang up and try again, then "phone tag" begins, ha!ha!

Hey, this is fun Pet Peeves Pet Peeves

you're gonna love this one........i was in a stall in the restroom at a restaurant and a woman in the next cell said, "hello" and i answered back, "hello" and she said "how are you?" and i said "fine"(all the time thinking that she was nuts to be talking to a complete stranger)........then i realized she was on a cell phone..........i too am very scared of "cellphone addicts" on the road. they scare the **** out of me..........

Cell phone lunatics! I forgot about them. I was in a restaurant the other day and 2 young women at a nearby table were both talking to each other as well as each on their phones.

Cell phone lunatics in cars! I am mostly a walker and biker. I have been endangered way too many times by phone yakkers. No way are they giving their best to driving.

Another peeve - yakkers in the bus who think they need to talk across several people, loudly, and on and on about nothing - generally I - me - mine.

That is sooo funny. Although we're in the UK, we get reruns of Seinfeld on cable, and you're experience is so like the show.

Thanks for cheering me up!!
