I am feeling like I have lost it...no sense of anything really. I cannot pinpoint what is going on but I know that I am on the edge. I am so stressed out that I cannot see straight. I have just felt so simply awful these past few days. I am second guessing everything I do and constantly stressing that I am screwing up at work someway.
I don't know what to do...

Jessica

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{Jessie}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} I'm so sorry you're having such a hard time right now. Girl, you're working too much! However, I understand the need to do it.

Have you tried a sleep aid? It will probably hit you hard the first time you take it, so see if you can take it early when you don't have to go to work the next day. Sleep is very healing and if anyone needs it, you sure do, Babe!

Please take care of yourself and don't worry about not answering post. We all understand.

Love you! Not doing so well

I'm not sure what to say here because I don't know that much about your situation but I am also wondering if something has recently triggered your stress. Perhaps some recent event or something. Can you look back and think of anything in particular?. Do you have any meds you can take to help you relax?. I too have been going through a tremendous amount of stress lately so I totally sympathize with you!!:-)

Sis Tomi,
I used to take Ambien for my sleep problems..it seems to have been a problem for a long time now. Somedays I can sleep and others I am just up all night long. The Ambien did make me feel horrible in the morning even when I was sleeping for 10 plus hours. Perhaps my dose was too high.. I have been thinking of trying something over the counter. I know I need to try something because I just cannot turn off my brain at night so I can relax and go to sleep.
Thank you for your understanding in me not being here so much!!

Jessica

GreyGoose,
Work has been very stressful lately. My position has recently changed and my hours increased quite a bit. My line of work is very stressful in itself and I think that I have been taking it home with me which I need to stop.
Thank you for your kind response. It helps a lot.

Jessica

Jessica, there's a good herbal sleep aid called Valerian. It's been used for thousands of years and was prescribed in America for anxiety and insomnia before the drug makers took over early last century. In fact, even though there's no actual relation, the "Val" in Valium was named after Valerian. It shouldn't be taken with alcohol or any other sedatives or ADs. A "standardized" extract is best.

Something to think about.

Wow I have never heard of that before. That would be a wonderful idea. I am always into trying the herbal remedies before anything else. I would just have to make sure there was no interaction with any other of my meds.

Thanks,
jessica
