I am so darn angry

Today I found out my 20 year old cousin is pregnant. Her ex-boyfriend is the father and they broke up when he got deployed to Iraq. Well my aunt and uncle are super religous folks and made that poor girl get in front of the church and tell the congregation of 150+ people and talk about her pre marital sex. Then they kicked her out and in my family we all have a deadly blood disorder called factor 5 it causes blood clots. Well she was so sick from that she was in and out of the hospital she has to have 2 shos a week in hjer stomach to keep from getting clots in her lungs heart and intestines and they want to treat her like a witch. Like they don't know 20 y/o have sex. Arggghhh I'm so mad at them right now.

That is sad, imo. I've witnessed this type of proceeding in many churches, unfortunately. There is a Biblical reference for it, but I think they are misusing the intent.

It ruined every young person's life where I saw it done. I don't think it creates abstention.

Maybe the young man will return from Iraq as a real man, with a new view, and things will work out.

She can come live with me and my church will love her. Tell her to let those people and their words fall off her like wind. Is she ok

Yeah. My uncle said that the Bible says to be forgiven you must repent of your sins in public. I think he is mi reading the verse there. I say you must accept you Savoiur publicly. I feel so sorry for my cousin. She must have been mortified. I hope when he does get back he will help her I know he will he is such a good kid. They both are really they're just young.

Thank you Minime. She goes to University of Ky and thats where she is now. She has a second 'family' there that are very supportive of her. She's doing better as far as the sickness goes but she is still sad over disappointing her parents.
