does massage help ptsd, anxiety or depression? if so is it a certain type of massage or does it matter? i know this is a strange question but i am trying to find alternative therapy to help me.

I personally think touch is very healing, so my answer would be that yes, it might help. People have been doing it for thousands of years, so there must be a reason eh?
![]() Something related to massage that I've heard people try (haven't tried it myself though) is progressive muscle relaxation. You do it on yourself, so it's good when you can't see a massage therapist for whatever reason. I imagine if you google it, you'll find instructions and more information.
