I was holding off on having another med decrease until after the holidays. My doctor and I decided that on jan 1st to go down by another 2.5 mg. hopefully I will keep feeling better and lose weight as I get off the Abilify. I do not want to take atypical's again. They cause so much weight gain. Had a really bad day on December 27th and am glad I had the meds to rely on. It is the day I lost my father to suicide. I got really sad and cried. Holidays are hard. I am so glad they are over. I was on 30 mg of Abilify 2 years ago. Now I am officially on 15 mg.

Sorry to hear! For me, Abilify worked okay, but for an AAP, Latuda is a miracle drug for bipolar depression and mania and is weight neutral. 15 mg of Aripiprazole is good for mood stability, and schitzo behavior. Now if you're using it in conjunction with an AD for depression, then Abilify is only effective at 2.5mg-5mg according to Otsuka America Pharmaceutical...Best of luck and hope you feel better!
