I bought several new vitamins/supplements to see if it helps. So far, nothing has helped.

My concentration, attention span, ability to focus, perform complex calculations, read, follow conversations, etc has slowly declined over the last 3 years. I make mistakes all the time. I am very forgetful, in terms of both short-term and long-term memory, and I can't remember important life events.

My T thinks it's anxiety. My internist thinks it's depression. I feel that depression is a result of trying to live with these cognitive problems, not the other way around. I am getting extremely worried that it will just keep getting worse.

I've heard that many have this problem, so i'm posting it here hoping someone got better after experiencing chronic brain fog. Could you share what worked for you?

It's starting to really scare me.

I used to be like that, but since I've been taking the nutraceutical Cerefolin NAC, my cognitive skills are great again. Best of luck!!

That's awesome. Is that alone responsible for the improvement??

I can't find that product online. I used to take NAC but it didn't seem to help. Did it take you some time to see its benefits?

Hey Autumn- http://cerefolinnac.com/ Yeah it totally helps with memory, cognition, and a little with depression... it takes about a month of two to work. I take one pill bid. Best of luck!

Thanks vans It's definitely worth a try.

It's a prescription drug. I couldn't find information online from a good source (the link above asks for personal information-I just don't feel like giving that right now). I noticed they had a patent application out. I wonder why one can't just take the ingredients separately? I know certain amounts of folate require a prescription but wonder if there is anything else.

Cerefolin NAC Ingredients
  • 5.6 mg L-methylfolate which is a biologically form of folic acid.
  • 2 mg Methylcobalamin which is vitamin B12.
  • 600 mg N-Acetylcysteine is a form of glutathione which is an antioxidant.
