During partial I had a lot of luck with OT and using sensory integration. However I had to leave partial after feeling traumatized by group leader/therapist (full story here). I've been trying to find an OT to go to for myself but I'm not having any luck in finding one. All the ones I found are with clinics for children with autism or other developmental disorders. I don't even know where to begin to look other than googling OTs in my area.

I have a few thoughts. Is there a Mental Health Association in your community? Perhaps someone could advocate for you (sorry, I did not read your story out of fears it might trigger my own PTSD). In addition they may be able to help you with finding a new OT and/or provide information on what is avalable to assist you. Has your family doctor been of any help?
