Considering my daughter is a minor and both her father and my father were or are substance abusers with either a personality disorder or a mood disorder I do not think cannabis is a good idea. She also has asthma and allergies and gets excessive mucus from smoking with even a bong. I am totally opposed to her smoking marijuana but she does it anyway whenever she can. I hope she stops. I'm trying to get her into treatment but I can't afford it and she doesn't want it anyways so it would be a waste of money at this point.

I think the cannabis plant is potentially a godsend for many many things, and compared to dangerous synthetic meds, it starts looking very good.

Another thing to consider is quality. Gotta investigate the source in order to avoid pesticides, mold, other contaminants, and to avoid unpredictable levels of potency.

Some info here:

I've used the product mentioned. Can just spray under the tongue.

Smoking is the worst way to consume it. Vaporizing eliminates many of the problems caused by smoking including the lung issues. Sublingual drops or spray avoids these problems entirely.

Unless a p p doc prescribes this I'm not on board with any cannabis product . I give her 250mg valerian root at night when she needs to sleep.

Don't know the state that is. No wild fires in my county.

Ambien is also a muscle relaxant? I have both for sleep problems. Never taken a benzo but the teens around here abuse them as party drugs.

Actually, "Zolpidem has some muscle relaxant and anticonvulsant properties, but has not been approved for use in muscle relaxation or seizure prevention." (Wikipedia)

Benzos do nothing other than numb you for hours on end. You can count on doing nothing productive, unless you count vegging out or sleeping productive.

I've tried every single benzo. No good came out of any of them.

There's a fire going on about 15 miles NW of me (I'm in Santa Barbara). It's producing so much ash that the color of the sky turned to a beautiful pink and red a few evenings ago. It was heavenly.

I don't let my kid use them, she snuck out to a party and took half a xanax. The sheriff knocked on my door and took me to the ER. She had overdosed on alcohol and had been sedated. It was traumatic.

Hi everyone. Valerian was not good for sleep for me. It made me anxious and although I did fall asleep, I woke with a headache which is unusual for me. Skullcap did reduce anxiety.
