I eat the whole apple, including the core. I am pretty sure that small amount of poison will not harm me. As for apricot pits, they don't look edible to me so I would not eat them. Also I was warned about feeding whole apricots to pet rats, because some people had really bad experiences with that. If a rat can't eat it, I would not either.

Also, IF cyanide was somehow good for you, it still does not make it a vitamin. A vitamin is something you cannot live without. Vitamins are not optional.
