Mental hospital they thought that I was manic when I was really extremely extremely anxious PTSD anxious well they decided to take me off my antidepressant and not replace me with another one despicable for 20 days I suffered like a dog pacing pacing churning nervousness butterflies like I couldn't even tell you how much I suffered. Any way towards the end they took pity on me as if and put me on Despicable Effexor which they said is okay with Mania I don't have Mania and now I'm stuck with Effexor and honestly I need help to get off this med and it's so hard to get off

I'm sorry you've had this unfortunate experience. I've been hospitalized twice for mental-health-related issues (actually as a result of failed suicide attempts.) And I have to say that some of the experiences I had during these hospitalizations are a primary reason why I don't want to do anything that might land me back there. I hope you are able to find a way to get yourself off of the Effexor. I've been on it in the past. And it's not an antidepressant I'd want to be back on either.

Ditto not wanting to go in for reasons like those :/
Hope you can get on the med that worked for you
