Any dog psychologists out there?

First of all let me say I love my dog, she is a border collie and the best friend I have ever had! Yep!

The thing is though is she has a real thing about perfume de poop! First of all it was fox poop and she'd go and find it and roll around in it and smell, well you can imagine the smell.

Sometimes she will roll in chicken poop, I can cope with that one, it's not that messy really!

But now she has moved on to cow poop! Oh my! All the fields around us are full of cows and she went missing for about half an hour today. Well, when she came back, I've never seen anything quite like it. I swear she must have stood under the cow while it was pooping! I have tried washing her three times already but she really stinks! She looks real pleased about it, I can't say this cow perfume is going to turn another dog on, so what is it with the cow poop?

Any old poop will do but cow poo is the best!Well I have three things to say - LOL, PU and Ewww. Pegasus - you and I officially have something in common - POOP!! We can be poop buddies. My dog hasn't discovered the joy of rolling in it (YET) but she shockingly, EATS it and I'm at a loss of what to do.

You have my deepest sympathy and I wish I knew what would take that smell away - perhaps ask your vet. You must be one patient person. I guess we would have to be a dog to understand what's so appealing about it. Best of luck.
