...on my bed.
So the over the weekend I noticed there was a wet spot on my bed that vaguely of cat pee. Later when I had cleaned it up and was going to put the sheet on it there was a wet spot on that that was of course pee but didn't spell like cat pee. Dogs have been visiting the past few days so... Anyways, WHY all of a sudden is my bed THE hotspot for peeing animals in this house?! ![]() For the record, my kitties have never had an issue with "marking their territory" before, they are both spayed, the only time they've ever had an accident was when the younger of the two was just a baby kitten and still learning how to use the litterbox (and that was years ago!). I'm hoping they are just being finicky about their litterbox since it was dirty at the time. (or maybe to get rid of the dog smell) I'm also thankful I still have a pillow and blanket that don't smell like pee so I can still sleep at night ![]() But now when I'm not in my room the kitties aren't either. Sad for them because my room is one of their favorites since they can look out the window. If it happens again though I'll have to kick them out of my room period even though I love hanging out with them in my room. |

Kaika, just as a possibility for the cat urination problem ... cats will pee outside of their litter box when they're in a lot of pain caused by an untreated urinary tract infection. It's easily treated with meds though, but I would advise a vet visit to be safe.
And animals marking territory sucks... I've got the same issue, but on a bunny/rat smaller scale ![]()
