So we got our new cat three weeks ago. I didn't mind not giving her a name at first because the question of is she lost or just abandoned was still in the air and with her I wanted to figure out her personality first before naming her. However.. I still can't think of anything that fits.

She's a tuxedo cat with green eyes. She's extremely curious, friendly, vocal (but not loud), playful, and has an obsession with the bathroom.

Here's a picture!

Need a name

Thanks in advance!

Charmin, like after the toilet paper, since she likes the bathroom
Thanks for this!

I love Charmin as a name.

2 other things stood out for me:
-One is her beautiful 'Jade' eyes.
-Two, she reminded me of a kitty who adopted me when was in Japan; they look identical. Cat in Japanese is pronounced, 'Nee koh' - so 'Niko' might be fun too for her named after her doppelganger out there somewhere.

Sorry for butting in from left field, but I think the name "Molly" is one of the best names for a cat in the world. Think about it.

What a beautiful kitty! We have one tuxedo cat. Her name happens to be "Misty." Just a name I liked, no significance. Our other cat (almost solid black) is "Mimi." She was named by my son when he was around 3 or so.

Well, if you want to capitalize on her colors, then there's always "Oreo."

I like "Molly," too, which was suggested. If I got another cat, then I would probably name her that.

Hey thanks guys! I have been considering the name Neko/Niko for a while now and Charmin would be cute. Molly is good, but my favorite doll since toddler days name is Molly so that name is taken already. Marlo has been dancing around in my head lately, but still unsure?

Naming pets is quite hard for me! The two cats I got as kittens got the ever so popular name Smokey and Blackie. There really are a lot of good names out there its so hard to pick just one .

LOL!! Before reading your post I had looked at the kitty's picture and the name Molly came to me. I think she looks like a Molly!! The other names are great too, I really like the Charmin, but her eyes say "I'm a Molly".

LFMN ~ Keep us posted on what name you pick.

You can also let her choose!! Write down a few names in separate pieces of paper, crumple them into paper balls and toss them all at once. Which ever one she seems most attracted to could be her name.

I would literally love to name her Molly (you're right now that you mention it, how it fits her) but perhaps a variant of it would work too? Like Holly? Milly/Millie was also on my list at the very start.

Molly is now one of the top dog's names. My daughter is a Molly, and your cat is cute, but not as cute as her.

Charmin is nice too: "Charmin' Charmin", or "Angel"- (Angel Soft

You liked "Marlo" and "Molly". so
I say go with "Marlie".
