In my room I have an overhead light with a fan. It has really long chains with wooden 'beads' on the ends for the fan and light that are well within cat reach. DC discovered them today... first he was turning the light on and off... Oh what power for a little Deaf cat! Then, when he got corrected for playing with the chains he learned a new game... You can get one good swat at the chains before mom catches you... So he was swatting the chains and then chasing their shadow on my bed.

LOL. DC sounds adorable but how will you ever get to sleep with the lights going off and on? You created a monster! LOL

Uh, well, Mr creative has to sleep in a kennel at night. He will not let up on my poor Omi cat who, I believe is the oldest of the crew (one was an adult rescue and we have no idea on age). He also gets into tons of mischief at night. He was a barn cat rescue and I am SURE the night life at that barn was far more entertaining than here! So... He goes to bed around 11pm with some wet food (not that I feel guilty or anything) and sleeps downstairs in his kennel. He is sure to let me know when it is 6am and time to get up and will let out a yell or two if he can feel my son or me up in the night.
I have had a lot of cats in my life but not one like this little man!

Omers, I don't have lights on my ceiling fans, but I have small wind chimes hanging from the pull cords. My Abby loves to launch herself through the air to ring the chimes. Could figure out why the fan speed kept changing until I caught her in the act. Gott love the fur babies!
Thanks for this!
